Adding Text to Screen Recording May 27, 2015 By CINDY LYONS Can I add text to display at certain points in the screen recording timeline, and then go away? My screen recording is a one-slide recording.

Yes. It's recording a process while I narrate it, and I specified one screen.

The options for how you could edit the screen recording are detailed here, but there isn't an option to cut out a portion of the middle of the video for example.
