Hi, I'm very knew to Articulate so this may or may not be the right approach but I'm trying to set a variable within a slide that means a person must identify two hotspots before the slide advances. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks
Hi Lisa, welcome to the community. See attached file that shows two options; one using hotspots like you are trying to do , the other one using transparent shapes. In the Hotspot option, clicking a hotspot set s variable to true, if both variables are true, then clicking the Next button jumps to the next slide. The second option does not use variables but the Visited state of transparent shapes. Only if both shapes are in Visited state (meaning, they have been clicked at least once), then the Next button jumps to the next slide. Have a look and see which version works best for you.
It looks like Michael has you covered here with a good example - and there is also a helpful article here on how to ensure the user has interacted with your hotspots prior to leaving the slide.
