I feel like this is a silly question that I aught to be able to figure out. I want to change the timing of all the slides in my project to 3 seconds, instead of the default 5 seconds. I really don't want to change each timeline individually. Is there a setting I don't know about that will allow me to do all slides at once?
First, there is no need to worry about silly questions here. Folks in the community including staff are here to help answer them all!
Second, you're not the first one to ask this either! Storyline's default slide timeline is set to 5 seconds and is extended by adding in media that is longer, or by manually changing the timeline length to something longer/shorter.
One idea if you'll be doing this to a lot of your files, is set one slide and then duplicate that slide instead of just adding in a brand new slide.
Hope that helps and we're here if you have any other questions, silly or otherwise!
That's correct; there's no default way of changing the 5-second timeline setting. As Ashley mentioned above, you can set one slide to your desired change and then duplicate that slide instead of just adding in a brand new slide.

OK, thanks for the info.
So there's no way to change default 5 seconds timing within SL360?
