Me too.  Came in to work between Christmas and New Year to get some work done when it's quite and can't get into the software.  Will try and find a techie to do an update but given the holiday period it's trickly.  Would be useful if we could be told about this in advance so we can shedule work accordingly.

FWIW the only thing that has changed on this PC is that Office 2016 which I've been evaluating has come to the end of its activation period.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for reaching out here. This is something that seemed to bubble up over night with a recent release of Flash player and our Support engineers were hard at work on this issue. We've got some updated documentation here and a workaround and we'll keep folks posted on any additional information once we've got information to share.

Hi Ian,

There are two things you'd want to check - the first being the information above in regards to the Flash version installed on your system and that you're also using the latest update of Storyline 2.  If you're still having difficulty, we'll want to get you working with our support team directly so that they can take  a deeper look at other system settings.

Yes, this has not been resolved so I will need to get help from the support team.

How can this happen?

HI Marilyn,

First, I wanted to let you know that responding via email includes your signature here so you're welcome to edit the post and remove that.

Also, did you already checked the article I shared above for the issue with the latest Flash update. Windows 8 isn't fixed yet, although they've shared the fix should roll out tomorrow as a Windows/Adobe update. If you're on Windows 10, 7 or Vista and have installed the latest updates but the issue persists out team is happy to help take a look and ensure it's all set up as it should be.

Can you see my contact information if I relpy this way?

Per my previous troubleshooting in Dec (see attachment) I was directed to uninstall my current Stroyline version.  I now do not have access to the serial number so I am unable to update my program.

Can you assist me?

One of our technicians (Ali) will raise a support job with your tech support:

"So far today I installed Flash version 20 latest version though the minimum requirements were version 10 - still asking for Flash player 10 or above

Also installed update for Storyline and ran software - still asking for Flash player 10 or above

Uninstalled the older version of flash incase it was interfering with the new flash - still asking for Flash player 10 or above

Uninstalled Articulate completely (all components and ran ccleaner to clean registry) and then did a fresh install for Articulate - still asking for Flash player 10 or above"

Hi Ian,

You'll want to ensure that you're using the latest update of Storyline 2 Update 7 and then the latest update of Flash released within the last few days or weeks. You can determine the Windows update that'll be the latest and you can check for updates as described here.

You can also connect with our Support team here.
