Altering Video Transperancy

My company has recently upgraded our Storyline license to SL3. While I normally find a lot of functionality added or improved upon, I rarely spot ones that I've used before that have been taken away.
I wanted to reach out to see if the process for adding transparency to videos in a project has changed, as now it looks like I can only affect the transparency for images.
I hope this wasn't removed, as I was able to achieve some really cool visual layering effects in the past. My question is what options are there going forward to achieve this effect?

We don't offer the option to add transparency to a video. You can only make those changes to an image.
I don't want to leave you empty-handed, so here's a workaround I've found from one of our community members.
To achieve this, you can add a shape to cover the video and adjust the transparency using the "Format Shape" settings. Here's what that would look like.
