I have found a really good video that i want to use within my training.
The only issue i have is that the start of the video isn't relevant, so my question is:
Is there a way of using the video but somehow starting it from an alternative position from where the video wants to start? EG i want to start the video at the 3rd minute and not the start.
Hi, Grant -- Thanks for your question! This discussion is somewhat older, but it appears that a similar question was posed. Could you please check out some of the suggestions offered and let us know if any of the ideas there will work for your needs?
It really depends where you're embedding the video from. Many services, like Youtube, allow you to specify the start point of the video in the url. Other than that, you might have to use some javascript to accomplish that.
Hi, Grant -- Please let us know if the suggestions provided will work for you, and if you should decide to use JavaScript as Mike mentioned, I wanted to stop in to note in case you weren't aware that is not something for which we'd be able to provide support. But, we have lots of JS experts in the community who are usually happy to help! :)

Hi Grant!
We have instructions for how to do this with YouTube. Hopefully this documentation will assist.

Hi!
Thanks for all the replies.
Unfortunately my video isn't a YouTube video.
I guess I will have to try the JS way...
Any ideas on this?
Thanks again
What type of video are you embedding, which service is it from?
