Animation in Layers

Hello All,
I am new to Articulate and just started working with layers. Many of my slides have multiple layers, and I have included animation on some of the layers. When I pause the audio on the layers, the audio pauses but the animation keeps going and doesn't stop. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I have several layers with animation. Thanks for your help!

Sarah,
Can you give a little bit more detail about your project? Or, post the project file? When you say animation, are you talking about items on the timeline, or are you talking about the simple transitional animations?
Hi Matthew,
I am referring to items on the actual timeline. Unfortunately, I can't post the project file. I'm using the slide layer to illustrate part of an example. If the user hits pause when the layer is playing, the audio will pause but the animation continues. Suggestions? Let me know if you need more clarification. Thanks for your help!
I don't know if this is the best solution, but it may work for you: http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/15724/126697.aspx
If all of your animation is on the base layer, it's really simple to pause the animation by adding a blank layer with the "pause timeline of the base layer" option selected.
Hi Sarah and welcome to Heroes!
In addition to the thread that Matthew provided (thanks Matthew!) I also wanted to point you to this tutorial about how to pause the timeline of a slide. If you're unable to share the .story file here in the forums you can always send it to our Support team privately who will be able to help you out.
