One of the great things about Storyline 2 is the ability to add conditionality to the Next button by slide. Unfortunately though, I can't seem to be able to change the state of the button at all which means the users are getting frustrated clicking buttons that look like they should work but don't!
I thought you meant the 'disabled' grey state still wasn't enough of an indicator which is why I suggested 'hidden' but if you haven't tried anything I agree with Michael and would start with that.
Thanks everyone! I was looking to change the Next button state by colour the way it works for other buttons but clearly that doesn't work as these are player buttons! :) The triggers have worked a treat though, thanks so much!!

Can't you Change state of the next buttonĀ within a trigger?
Hi Cindy
can you change the state of the next button to Hidden when the timeline starts and then change it to normal when you want them to click it
I agree with Michael - I would recommend changing the state of the Next button to "disabled", which makes it grey and unclickable.
Hi Cindy! Looks like you are getting some great assistance here. Please let us know if you need anything further.
