I have a mix of required and optional content for learners. I don't want the Next button to appear until after the learners have examined the required content. I've done this before but only when I've required learners to view all the content. For the life of me I can't get it to work this time and I don't know why. The Next button appears on the layer, where it isn't active and disappears on the main screen.
Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? Thank you for your assistance. mkw
See attached a revised file that, unless I misunderstood, does what you want. Now the Next button is only displayed once you viewed the info one of the categories and then click the Close button. There is no need to use triggers to shows the built-in visited state of the menu buttons. I removed these triggers and added one to show the Next button, once the close button on each layer is clicked.

Hi, to really investigate what's going on with your project, it would be better if you could post the .story file, not the published version.
