When I open a link for the Articulate Mobile Player it briefly flashes the first page of the course (like a thumbnail) then tells me to download the app again which is already loaded AND OPEN. For the life of me I can't get this to work... not to mention I'm also having issues with anything publishing for the iPhone as well.
Sorry this is happening. If you're running iOS 9 or later on your iPad, you'll want to make sure that you publish your courses while utilizing the latest update for Storyline 2, update 11. Apple made some changes to the way apps launch in iOS 9, so your Articulate Storyline 2 courses may not launch in the Articulate Mobile Player as you'd expect. We added support for iOS 9 in a recent update for Storyline 2. Check out this article for details on how to update your Storyline software and your published courses. Hi Lisa! To second Ali's suggestions, I took a look at the course you previously shared regarding iPhone playback and it loaded perfectly on AMP for me on the iPad as well.
I don't understand it. I have the latest iOS update and the latest Storyline update and I can't seem to get anywhere. I'll have my co-workers try it on their phone - maybe it just doesn't like me?!
Keep us posted on how the further testing with your coworkers goes. I'm able to launch your test course on my iPhone 6s running iOS 10.1.1 using the tempshare link Leslie posted over here. Are you seeing the same issue on your phone when you test using that link?
Also just a note that the Articulate Mobile Player is only for viewing on tablets and androids, if you're viewing the content on an iPhone then it will launch in a browser window using the HTML5 output.
