If I choose for a course to be available for offline viewing in the Articulate Mobile Player does the Mobile App automatically check for updates to the activity when it is connected to the internet?
Or, if it's downloaded for offline viewing, does it never check or connections and updates to the courses again?
What I'm getting at is do we have to remove and re-add each activity every time there are changes or updates to the content if it's been downloaded for viewing offline?
So just to confirm, if you're updating the course with new interactions, slides, etc. but you've set up the course for offline viewing you want to know if the user will need to re-download the content or if the course just updates those individual elements? I'd say it will be re-downloaded, so this is also something to keep in mind if you're tracking the course or have it set up to keep track of where the user is in the course as depending on the LMS overwriting the course could cause all the tracking data to be lost.
Yes, that's my question. If there's an active internet connection will the Mobile Player automatically re-download the new version or will the user have to manually delete and re-download the new version? I'm not tracking on an LMS, just a matter of ensuring everyone will be working from the most recent version of the exam.

They'd likely need to reaccess the link to initiate the download of all the most recent materials as otherwise it may continue to access a cached version. I don't believe that they'd need to delete the original though, it should overwrite it as long as the file name and everything else was the same.
So, as long as they accessed via the link instead of launching through the app, it would refresh.
We'll try that.

It should - and I also just wanted to note that replying via email includes your signature here and it looks like there isn't any personal info in your signature - but just wanted to give you the FYI. You can always edit the post if needed.

Interested in this as well, but I would think that it would have to re-downloaded.
