Articulate Reporting Options

Jul 15, 2022

I am new to Articulate 360, and am considering purchasing it for my company. Is there a way to not have an Articulate course published to an LMS and still get the same interactivity?

Is there a way to have a tracking reports (per slide viewed, quiz results, etc) instead of sent to an LMS, sent to an individual? (if the Articulate course is not published to an LMS).

Sorry, I need to make a decision on whether we'll purchase Articulate 360 but this is kind of a make or break situation. Articulate doesn't seem to play well with our LMS.

Thank you!

Andrea

Hi Andrea! A published course (Whether from Storyline 360 or Rise 360) should have the same interactivity in your LMS as it does when you preview it in Storyline or Rise 360. I'd reach out to your LMS provider if it seems like you are experiencing a difference in interactions between your original course and the LMS output.

As far as emailing quiz results, you could do this in Storyline 360 by inserting some Javascript into the course. There's a similar thread on this along with instructions on what that user did, here!

Key to your question is this:to not have an Articulate course published to an LMS and still get the same interactivity?  When not using a LMS publishing for HTML is your only option. And thus a lot of Scorm functionality is not available. User related progress and scores are LMS related and thus will not be saved. So test it.

Tracking is only available when publishing to LMS. So when publishing to HTML you donot have user value trackable and cannot standard save them. Offcourse you can manipulate your HTML-code with Javascript to save that data...but that is a lot of work for something that is standard on a LMS.

So test, test, test.
