Articulate Storyline and Moodle: Two Issues

Jul 24, 2019

Greetings everyone!

I launched a Storyline course via Moodle, version 3.2, using a SCORM package. I having two issues that I am struggling to resolve.

1. The first issue is the activity/quiz function (Slide 2.17). Learners are asked to sort campus resources into confidential and non-confidential resources, moving tokens into appropriate boxes. When they hit submit they are either given the message Try Again or Correct to move forward. Some users recently reported the quiz function freezing. I was able to identify the issue was with the attempts option, which was set to "4" rather than "unlimited." I re-uploaded the SCORM package with the updated "unlimited" settings,  but users still report when they resume the module the tokens are frozen and they cannot move forward. I am not sure what to do.

2. I have a user who is reporting on Slide 1.3 one of the Speech Bubbles is not displaying for him to review the definitions of the various forms of relationship violence. Viewers have to click on both bubbles and review the definitions before moving on. I know this is not a wide-spread issue given multiple learners have completed the course both before and after this user reported issues. When my Moodle admin logs in as this learner, he too reports that he cannot see the speech bubble to click on. However, when I go to Articulate Storyline, everything works fine and the bubble shows up. Additionally, if I go into the course as a generic student, I do not have the speech bubble issues either. Has anyone every faced this issue and can you tell me how to resolve it? Thanks!

Thank you for the prompt response Phil! I will attempt to change the drag and drop to reset to initial state to resolve that issue.

The individual stated they were using Edge/Internet Explorer and that was the browser my Moodle admin was using. I have asked him to try it in another browser and see the results.

Greetings, Rebecca!

So sorry for the trouble. It looks like you got some excellent suggestions from Phil (Thanks, Phil!), and another smart move to share your file with our Support Engineers.

I had a peek at your case where my teammate, Gerald, helped troubleshoot the content in SCORM Cloud to get a baseline of course performance in an LMS environment.

Keep us posted on what Moodle shares and please let us know if we can be of any other help!
