Attempts/Retry- settings are off
Jul 24, 2015
Hi All-
I have a setting "off" and I can't remember where to change this.
Right now, when a question is answered wrong, the student is immediately asked to try again...until they get the question right. When there are only 2 or 3 choices, this makes it pretty easy to guess your way through the course.
My preference is to have the student take the entire quiz and if they don't get 100%, they can retake the quiz until they get all answers correct.
Who can save my day and remind me where I can change that?

Hi Rachel
change the view of the slide to Form view and in the top left hand corner options you will see feedback options and attempts - here you can change the options
hope that helps
I'm afraid I've made it more complicated than that. At least, I think I have. When I created the first scene, I included a question that had 3 feedback options: Correct, Incorrect and Retry. When I finished the course and tested it out, the Retry feedback came up for every incorrect option. This is not what I want because it's too easy to guess the right answers. I want the students to take the quiz again (They're only 2-question quizzes, so it's not so bad.)
I went through and deleted all of the "retry" feedback options because I wasn't going to use them. However, now, "Correct" works but "Incorrect" still doesn't work. I feel like I'm missing something obvious but am too tired to sort it out on my own. :)
The file wouldn't attach here (maybe too large), so here's a link where you can look at it.

Thanks in advance for any advice you have. My deadline is 5 PM tomorrow.

Hi Rachel! By allowing Unlimited attempts on the questions, you are essentially 'waiting' for the user to correct the right answer and that is why you are not getting the incorrect feedback.
