I'm having issues with the audio and video remaining synced after publishing. I've attempted multiple troubleshooting paths (working from the desktop) - creating new files, adding audio and video as individual mp4 and mp3 files into Storyline and adding a combined audio/video file produced as an mp4 from Camtasia. Under all circumstances, I'm having the same issue. Are there any work arounds for this issue?
Hi, Katie -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your difficulty! May I ask if you have been testing your published output in the intended environment and are seeing the same behavior there, as well?
You may also want to check out this article on Unexpected or Erratic Behavior in Storyline 2 and if issues persist, please upload your file and we'll see what more we can do to assist. :)
Hi Christie! Yes - I've tested in the intended environment, and the behavior exists there as well. I've also used Replay to publish the video - and when published from that source, the video and audio are aligned. Once importing into storyline, however, the issue reappears upon publishing. I've uploaded my file to see if you can see anything that I'm overlooking. Thanks in advance.
Hi, Katie -- Many thanks for your reply and for sharing your file! I will take a look as soon as possible and will reply here with my findings; your patience is appreciated! :)
Hi, Katie -- Thanks for your patience while I tested your file, and if you click on this link, you will see that I experienced what I assume is the same behavior you had encountered (almost sounds similar to the echoing of a loud speaker in a sports stadium).
I thought perhaps the adjustments listed here would do the trick, but I was not able to find improvement, so I would like to have our Support Engineers investigate further. I will go ahead and submit a ticket on your behalf shortly, and I intended to follow along so I can share updates here for others who may be having difficulty.
Certainly, Katie, and you should have received a confirmation email that your case #00766044 has been received in our system. If you have not received that message, please check your SPAM folder in the event it was routed there in error. :)
