I recorded audio in Audacity and my source files sound fine. I have exported and tried them as wav, mp3 and aicc files. When I play them in Storyline 2 (before publishing - playing from the timeline), they are distorted. Any suggestions? I'm working on an urgent project and the audio is a big problem. Thank you.
Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio '13 support a wide range of audio file formats (AAC, AIF, AIFF, M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA), not all codecs and bitrates are supported. If you encounter an issue with your audio, we recommend converting your audio files to 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV for best results.

If you're still experiencing some difficulty, please share a copy of your audio file here so we can take a look at how it behaves in Storyline.
Great article. Just ran into the same problem.
The first proposed solution works like a charm :)
Thanks a bunch!
Glad that this thread was able to assist you as well Marcel :)
