I've created a 43 MB module that I house on Articulate Online. It behaves well on my Lenovo Thinkpad (32 bit) in Internet Explorer 9. But when playing on my Macbook Pro in Safari or Chrome, the audio cuts out at random points.
The audio in question are tracks embedded in SWF files imported as Video (not as Flash).
Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this? My client really wants this working in both IE and Safari and ... I really don't have a solution.
Just to add to my confusion, my client now reports audio cutting out in IE8 on her Windows machine. So now I don't know if this is a browser or platform issue or what, really.
I'm publishing for both Flash and HTML5 (ie., for Articulate Mobile Player) and am viewing the course after it has been uploaded to Articulate Online. I'm running Storyline Update 2: 1212.1412.
I'll have to PM you the link.
FYI, I now have separated the audio tracks from the SWF video, but the problem remains. I have a custom play and pause buttons on each slide. Clicking those brings back the audio, but now out of synch.
We have a published site in HTML 5 on the most recent version of Story Line. It is hosted with Articulate On Line and we are experiencing audio loss on some units from time to time. We have tested it different computer, difference growers and internet providers.
The problem is intermittent and over across units (not always the same one).
What is the solution? We have an immediate problem so you help would be greatly appreciated
If it's an urgent matter, it might be best to go ahead and contact our support team about the issue.
However, if the issue is random and can't be reproduced, it may be difficult to pinpoint what's causing the issue with the audio.
If you can gather some information about what type of machines, browsers, etc. were used to test this, it would really help us in trying to narrow down the issue.
You'll be able to attach the .STORY file on the second page of the following form:

Hi there Mike!
Can you give a little more information on how the course is being published and viewed?
I have access to Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari, if you'd like to share a link to an uploaded course. I'd be happy to take a look :)
Thanks!

Hi Mike!
I just responded to your private message.

Hi Christine!
I just did the same. Thanks.
Hopefully we can come up with a resolution to this issue and then return here to post for everyone's benefit.
Cheers!
