Auotmatically close lightbox?

Jan 05, 2023

Hello,

I've built feedback slides that use a lightbox to reference other slides in the project so users can watch the workflow again if they need to.

It's cool that I can do this, however, the user can then progress through those slides in the lightbox, which creates a bit of an "inception" of slides-within-slides.

Is there a way I can close the lightbox when the slide within it is clicked?

I attached my file. Check out the feedback slides in the "Try it" scene.

Hello Mitchell,

Thanks for reaching out!

You can add triggers similar to the one shown in the screenshot in all of the slides in Scene 2 to close your lightboxes when your learners attempt to interact with them when the slides are being viewed as lightboxes.

You can change the action or the event of the trigger, but you'll mostly want to do your testing using this trigger condition:

Hope this helps!
