Using a lightbox as a submenu

I have a pretty complex storyline file, with multiple scenes and multiple pages within scenes. There's a custom top menu that has buttons jumping to the start of each scene. I'd like to have a popup submenu for each section, and tried to do this using a lightbox - but links in a lightbox to other slides cause the slides to open *in the same lightbox* - is there a trigger that will close a lightbox and then jump to a slide in the presentation?
