Base layer objects showing on a slide layer when they shouldn't be

I have a series of pictures on the base layer (one character in three different poses repeating through all three poses for about 30 seconds). There's also 6 different slide layers. On each slide layer, I have objects on the base layer visible (because we need to see other content) but I manually de-selected the pictures of the guy and his poses on every single layer. For some reason, I still see flashes of that guy and his poses when I click in between slide layers. I believe it's because you see the base layer for a split second and, since this guy is doing his thing on the base layer, you see him.
Is there an easy workaround around this? I'm guessing not but the perfectionist in me thought I'd ask :)

Hi Gloria,
I set your layers to pause the timeline of the baselayer and deselected the speaking bubble too. That should be like you wanted to. :) Just have a look.
Thank you guys SO MUCH!
Little things can really make or break an eLearning in terms of them looking polished/professional/etc. This is one of those little things. Thank you :)
HI Gloria! So glad that you were able to get the assistance that you needed here :) Thanks for chiming back in with your thoughts and update.
