Base Timeline Won't Resume When Video in Lighbox or Layer Ends

Aug 05, 2015

I could sure use some advice on this one. I'm stumped.

I have a base layer that shows a lightbox video when the base layer timeline reaches 356 seconds. I've cues the base layer timeline to stop at 356 seconds and the lightbox video to appear at 355.5 seconds. I've set the lightbox slide to trigger closing the lightbox when its timeline ends. This returns me to the base layer but this doesn't automatically resume playing. Is there any way I can make the base layer resume playing automatically?

Thank you!

Hi Rob,

Do you also have audio/video on the original slide that you'd like to resume or the overall slide timeline isn't resuming? I know lightboxes behave a bit differently in terms of returning to the slide, as it's a separate slide vs. a layer which can be set to automatically pause the base slide layer.

Are you using Storyline 2 or Storyline 1? I'd be curious if you could share a copy of the project here so that we could take a look at a few sample slides?
