blocks behind text appears only on Iphone

Hi all, 

I have created an arabic course in Storyline and when viewing the course on an iphone (either through articulate review or through Moodle LMS) these blocks appear behind the text (see image). Anyone have any experience with fixing this? This problem doesn't seem to occur when using windows or android.

I understand it is frustrating seeing your translation displayed incorrectly within your course. I'm happy to help! 

Check what font is being used for the Player items (e.g., the Menu and Text Labels). My guess is that it's a font that doesn't support the characters used in Arabic. I've created a quick Peek recording to show you how to find the player font information within Storyline 360. 

I have a few clarifying questions as well:

  • Are you only experiencing this text error in the mobile version of the course?
  • Have you tried viewing your course in different browsers?
  • Is this error showing up on any other slides within your course?

If you are still having trouble, we'd be happy to take a look at your file and troubleshoot with you in this thread or privately in a support case. Whatever you are most comfortable with.
