I am using Storyline 1to create my tutorials. I am using Snagit 11 for screen captures. When I insert a screen cap saved as a .png the resolution becomes blurry. What is the proper resolution I should be using for my images. The tutorials may be viewed on anything from a 12" laptop to a 26" (or larger) monitor.
Hi, John -- So sorry to hear of the issues your are experiencing! You may want to take a look at some of the suggestions offered over here in this thread for some ideas you can try. And here is a thread regarding Screen Capture Best Practices you may find helpful. :)
The maximum size for images in Articulate Storyline is 2048 pixels x 2048 pixels. Images that are larger than this will lose quality when inserted into Storyline, which may make them appear blurry or fuzzy.
When importing a very large image into Storyline, it'll initially be scaled down to fit within the slide dimensions that you chose for your project. However, you can reset it to its original size after inserting it. Here's how.

Match the resolution of the slide but if you set the player to scale it is likely they will be blurry on large screens.
