Blurry text and pictures

Jul 30, 2020

Hi,

I need some expert help here. I'm running into an issue of blurry text and images when importing into Storyline 360.I'm building a project using screenshots taken from a video produced using Adobe Premiere. The video is encoded at 1920 x 1080 high res and then the screen shots are taken from there. When viewed on my pc the image looks crisp. When imported into Articulate, the image is blurry (especially text within the image). I've tried changing my DPI settings to 100%.... 125...etc. I've published and viewed on Firefox and Chrome. I've even tried creating text boxes in Storyline to mask over. The result is the same. Blurry text and lower quality images. Any suggestions?

What is the resolution of the course? 1920x1080 is 2,073,600 pixels. The default Story size at 16:9 is 720x405 which is 291,000 pixels. That's a lot of missing pixels.

Here's a post where I explained a few tips.

Essentially, you'll have some image degradation when you scale the image down. The key is to try and insert an image that doesn't require scaling.
