Board games in Storyline

May 15, 2013

Has anyone had any success with building board games in Storyline (something like Candyland, Monopoly, etc.)?  If so, does anyone have any tips or templates they have used?  Thanks!

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Chris!

This sounds pretty awesome. I may have to put this on my "To Do" list.

In the meantime, here's some examples/demos and threads you may want to check out:

[DEMO] Farkle game (Storyline)

Create a Game with Articulate Storyline

Jeopardy template for Storyline

Another Storyline Game

I created word puzzle in storyline with interactive feedback

Memory Game Template

Good luck!

Thanks and welcome again,

Christine

Hi Christine,

I've made an game board  quiz in which when we click on the different buttons it takes us to the different questions related to it. Everything is going fine, but when I try to reset it to its initial state it is not working well. I'm sharing my story file with you.

Hi Kartik and welcome to Heroes!

The examples in this thread are a great place to start, but I'm unsure as to what you need assistance with. I took a look at your slides, and it looks like all the question slides are set up to be reset to the initial state on a revisit and the main slide from which you select questions is behaving as expected. Could you provide a bit more information about what you're looking to change?
