Hello all, has anyone been able to resolve branching quizzes with a different number of questions in each branch and the score for a chosen branch returned to the LMS? I have seen the dummy results slide which works with the same number of questions in each branch (after some math) and the hidden T/F question slides, but that just returns a Passed and no score. Looking for a result and score to pass. Here is what I have so far. I am thinking it is going to have to be 2 courses. Bummer
I can't say I've seen a set-up quite like you're describing, but there are some stellar folks in this community who thrive on these kinds of puzzles. Hopefully they'll have some ideas for you!
I studied your file and took the RN test. Failed with flying colors!
Assuming once a learner chooses a path (quiz) they will not have an opportunity to choose the other path. When publishing to LMS we have two tracking choices: number of slides viewed or results slide.
This may be too easy to be true without testing, but assuming the above where learners have one choice to choose their path, then one final results slide is all that's needed.
You already have that final results slide but it's not calculating any scores from questions. It seems you are just wanting to show a Success or Failure layer based on trigger conditions.
Here's the easy part - simply set that final results slide to calculate. Calculate results for: "Selected results slides" and check both the RN and Tech results slides.
Rationale - If learners only get one chance to choose a path, then calculating both results slides would cancel out the one not being calculated. Logic makes sense writing this! Only way to know is throw it up on an LMS and test.
