Button sets and revealing layers

Hello all,
I'm trying to do something which I suspect is not possible in Storyline! But I am not one to give up easily. Usually these things have a work around :-)
I have several button sets on a Storyline screen, and I want those buttons to reveal information on the screen when pressed.
I know I can do this with multiple layers, however, I only want the buttons within the set to hide the layers also relating to that button set, not the other layers from other sets (diagram of what I mean included).
So if a button is from a different set, it shouldn't hide layers revealed by buttons from another set.
Can anyone help? As I said, I suspect this is not possible :-(
Thanks.

Hi Megan
here is a sample see if this helps - I only coded sets 1 and 2 not 3
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for helping, but I can't open that Storyline file, it appears to be for Storyline 2? I'm using Storyline 1.
Here is the file for what I'm trying to do.
I want layers Urgent 1 and Important 1 to hide each other, but not hide any of the other layers.
Hi Megan
here is the published zip file - make sure it works how you expect before i have to recreate in SL1
You're a genius!!! Thank you!!! :-)
Hi Megan
is there any reason for the layers with the one word on them... I wasn't sure how to show/hide layers with all the buttons going on, so I have placed the words Important and urgent as textboxes on base layers - initial state hidden, then depending on what is clicked they are normal or hidden...
I also renamed some of the objects in your timeline as I couldn't keep up with which buttons triggered what...I have also attached screenshot of all my triggers and variables in case you need to work out how my story worked.
Hope that helps you
