Button to activate hidden callout?

Apr 08, 2024

I've seen a similar question and attempted to follow the steps described but to no avail. I have attached a picture of the slide I am working on. I want the user to select a button which will cause a text box or callout to appear. Then, when the user selects the same button a second time, the callout will be hidden again. I could also make it if the user selects the callout it disappears.

Here's a simple solution: insert the callout into the Selected state of the button/shape.

When an object has a Selected state, it will automatically toggle between that state and Normal when it is repeatedly clicked. Thus, the first click will show the callout. The next click (which can be on the callout part or the button part) will hide it.

This is demonstrated in the attached file.
