There have been a few feeds about this but I must admit that they are dealing with multiple drag and drop scenarios. Here's what I am struggling with...
I have one item that is dragged to a hotspot and if it is incorrect the learner can click on a "Try Again" button. The layer is hidden to reveal the base layer. The problem is that the item is still sitting in the hotspot area and I'd like it to return to it's original location on the slide. I have set the slide properties to "Reset to initial state" but the item is still in the spot where it was dragged.
How do I get that item to return to it's original spot if the learner is trying again?
change the trigger from your "try again" layer from "hide layer" to "jump to slide" and choose your quiz slide again. This resets it to initial state. :) Reset to initial state only works, when the user visits the slide again from an other slide.

Thank you Susi! Don't know why I didn't think of that. Looking for a more complex answer I guess!
Glad it helped. ;)
