Can only see logo and blue background when previewing

I can only see the logo and blue background when previewing. How do I see it all the time? I must of turned something off?

Hi, Lori -- Thanks for your question! May I ask if you are seeing the same behavior when you test your published output in the intended environment, as well?  As the article states, "If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail."

Please let us know if that helps, and if so, please upload your file as Wendy suggested so that we can take a closer look and do some testing for you. :)

Hi, Lori -- Many thanks for your patience! If you click here, you will see that your course appears to function normally when tested in the SCORM Cloud (which is the industry standard for LMS testing).

I am sorry, that did not answer my question. I know I can see it when i preview or publish.

1. I need to change the logo and I can't see where to do it.

2. If I want to change the blue; background, I can't see where do it

3. I have an acknowlegement, but am not sure if my choice of survey question was best. What is the best practice for an employee to confirm they read content?

Hi Lori

Q1 and 2 can be answered by adjusting the player properties - Logo at the bottom of the Player Properties > features

and the colours by accessing the Colors & Effects option

Thanks for the clarification, Lori, as I was trying to help where you stated, "I can only see the logo and blue background when previewing." 

And as Wendy shared, in order to change the background, please see this info on Changing the Player Colors, Font, and Font Size, and to update your logo, please see the following info from this article:

Choosing a Logo

Also in the Features area of the window is an option to add a logo to your course player. When enabled, the logo will appear at the top of the sidebar. To add a logo:

  1. Mark the Logo box.
  2. Then use the Click to add a logo link to browse to the image you want.

For the best results, use an image that has a maximum width of 200 pixels and a maximum height of 220 pixels. If your image doesn't fit within these dimensions, Presenter will scale it to fit.

If you add a logo to your player but later decide that you want to use a different image, click the blue hyperlinked text and browse to the image you want to use. If you change your mind about having a logo, just uncheck the Logo box to disable it.
