I am trying customize my sceencast with some layers below it. It looks great in Normal view, but as soon as I try to play it, I can't see the screencast.
I see the behavior you're describing when the screen recording doesn't play at all in the preview - and I took a look at the original screen recording by inserting it again - and that one was working fine. I took a look at your slide again, and it looks like it's being blocked by one of the other elements on your base layer. Since screen recordings are added to the slide's background, specifically the blue shape you've tried to lay behind the screen recording. If you'd like the background to be a particular color, you'll want to do that within the Design settings instead of trying to use a shape.

Hi Yenn,
Do you have a screenshot, file or example you can share?
I've got no clue what you're doing but I am curious
Where shall I upload the file?
Here is the slide that I'm toying with.
You have "Hide other slide layers" checked in the properties for your hint layer...
Hi Ken,
Thanks for pointing that out. But, even if I delete the other layers, the screencast isn't displayed when I preview.

Thanks, Ashley. I'll give that a try.
