Can't publish

I am having trouble publishing my storyline file.  Regardless of the publish type it returns to the publish dialog box without completing the process. I want it to be published for LMS, with html5 and ipad downloading options.

After searching through the forums I have:

  - deleted the logo and unticked the option

  - reset the player

  - imported slides to a new storyline file (won't save after import, gives an out of memory error) and won't publish

  - tried the file on a different computer with a different version of storyline

  - removed the menu and resources

  - checked for odd characters in file names, slide titles and menu items

  - always work and publish locally

This is not the first time we've encountered this problem, but moving to another PC has solved it so far. The other real concern is the out of memory errors we are receiving.  Lost time and work results as well as a lowering of confidence in the storyline product.  I'm now in an unenviable position of having developed 15 units over the past 6 months on what looks like an increasingly unstable platform that I recommended.

Hi David,

I downloaded the file you shared and was able to successfully publish to my Articulate online account and you can see it here: http://aterwilliger.articulate-online.com/9369998187 

It took a while as it's a fairly large file, but I didn't run into any publishing errors, and I ran through the first few slides and everything was working as expected. I'm working from a Windows 8 set up and viewing within Google chrome. 

You mentioned doing the Storyline repair, but have you also tried to reporting the supporting Microsoft software as described here.
