I am trying to hide objects on a base layer when hovering over a hot spot but so far, I can only make the objects greyed out. Is it possible to remove them completely whilst the new layer comes up during the hover?
on the LO layer, remove the tick 'hide objects on base layer'. Then in the layer timeline dropdown arrow for base layer objects, hide everything except the 'hotspot'.
Thanks for this. It has worked in that the hot spot is working now. However, the objects that I need on the base layer are no longer there ie title, picture etc.
this is v6 of your file where I made the changes I mentioned above. See the video I'm not sure I understand. When I hover, the layer with the Objectives heading displays with the list of obj and then when I mouse away it restores to the Main Menu slide with heading and picture.
I didn't realise that the base layer was also listed in the timeline further down the list. I was using the actual base layer. All sorted now. Many thanks for your help, a clos look at your screen shot help me solve this. Much appreciated :)
