I created a test in Articulate Storyline and have published it for use in our LMS. Is it possible to remove the "MENU" side bar, so that test-takers don't see it?
Hi! Having a weird issue. I am using the Classic player and I have unchecked Menu box and the Logo box but I am still seeing the Menu when I view the course. The only thing I have done today was to set the Menu to restrict the Next and Previous buttons. I have tried turning this feature off but I am still getting the Menu when previewing the course. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for chiming in and sharing what you are experiencing.
Thanks for confirming that you do not have the Menu enabled in the Player. If you're still seeing it on some of your slides, please double-check that you do not have Custom Settings at the slide level, where the menu could still be enabled.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Hi…I had someone else have me check the settings on the individual slide vs in the Player area. This fixed my issues since I had Menu selected on the individual slide. Thanks for the help.

You can turn off the menu for any slide as described here, see under 'Player features'.
Hi Burnette!
Looks like Michael is assisting you here, but I did want to pop in and welcome you to E-Learning Heroes
Thanks. Is there any reason why all slides don't automatically appear in the player?
Hi Rebecca! All slides should appear in the player menu.
If they don't, try resetting the menu using the Reset from Story button.
Hi there,
I see this is an old chat, but i will ask my question anyway, hoping someone can help.
I would like to hide the menu and navigation panel, but still have RESOURCES visible (in Storyline courses).
Is this possible?
Thanks!
C.
Hello Cara and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Yes! You can choose which Player features you would like to include in your course.
