I was wondering If it was possible to submit a true/false variable system as an interaction like a quiz.
I am trying to create a quiz that involves clicking and dropping a number of images to build a product then have it be graded at the end. I have tried to use a simple freeform drag and drop mode but there is so much content that is clogs up the memory (I have the 4GB patch also) after only a couple slides so we are trying to find a simpler way of creating the quiz.
I've seen examples where a t/f variable is used to simulate a t/f quiz, but I'm not able to envision how you'd like to use it with this drag and drop interaction. Could you explain a bit more about what you're looking to accomplish with the t/f variable?
Actually, the scenario they are using in the discussion you sent me might work for what I need to do! I'm having a hard time explaining what my department head wants since I just started using this software two weeks ago (and he isn't terribly handy with it either)
Actually, it didn't work. So after that I tried a Pick Many method and I was only able to complete one slide before it said memory almost full, which I think is odd considering other ways that I have done it let me get to three slides and I have a 4GB patch that I found in another discussion. Would I be able to submit a video of what I currently have for you to look at?
Sure, you can send your files to our Support team here and you'll also be able to record a screencast of what's happening. Please let me know your case number once you submit the support case and I'll follow along too.
I see Miker already responded and share some troubleshooting steps to ensure that you're working locally with your images and Storyline file, and he asked you to conduct a repair of your Storyline software and the surrounding Microsoft software. I've copied his response below for you, and if you need additional help you can reply to the email he sent from Support@articulate.com
NOTE: Make sure that you're following the steps (in the order they appear) outlined in the version of your Windows Operating System. ALSO, I'll need you to perform the repair in Microsoft .Net Framework and reinstall Adobe Flash Player as indicated in the "If you're still experiencing unexpected behavior" section of the article.
Also, be sure you're working from your local hard drive (typically your C: drive) when creating, editing, or publishing a Storyline project. Working from a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes you've made to your project, and loss of resources.

Just to eliminate possible software installation issues, I will need you to perform the troubleshooting steps in this article:
