Hi Michelle, have you tried opening up a blank project and then copy the slides from this project that isn't saving and paste them into hte new project. Paste the first slide over and try saving. If it works continue for the rest of them. That should hopefully get the project saved until someone can advise on the reason why it was happening.
I just tried Shaun's suggestion and it worked for me. I was upgrading a project from Storyline 2 to Storyline 360 and got the "cannot access closed stream" error when I tried to save. I opened another Storyline session and copied each scene over into the new file one by one, and then was able to save.
