Last week we were at a Storyline training and the exact same question was asked.
No, it is not possible to change the position of the Logo via the SL interface.
Fiddling around with XML files is kind of dangerous and is a not recommended practice. If Articulate decides to change any behaviour, you might run into trouble.
What you can do is move the menu (if necessary) to the top and have your logo on a master slide. In that case, you have the full screen where you can display you’re logo

How would one get the logo in line eith the menu and title at the top, as opposed to below in the content area of a Master Slide?
