I am figuring out ways to make global font changes. One way is with search and replace. Another method is by changing the themes. However, I have learned that once I make a manual font change on a slide, it is persistant and does not change when themes are changed. Even if I go back and substitute the appropriate font for the theme, it still persists.
So, my question is, after changing a font on a slide, is there a way to get the fonts on a slide revert to the original behavior, so as to be sensitive to global theme changes?
It sounds like you've used the correct options to initiate a font change!
You'll see the Font in the Home tab updates automatically with the current font you're using and recently used fonts. However, the Fonts section in the Design tab is meant for choosing a font theme so it's not tracking previously used fonts.
