I currently have a video that plays in my story and if the student tries to move forward a message box appears that says something to the effect of "please wait for the video to complete".
I need the box to originally be hidden, displayed when the button is clicked and then disappears after 2 seconds (and reset so that if the student tries again, the box re-appears for 2 seconds). So far I have managed to set to hide and then display the button but I cannot figure out how to make it automatically disappear after 2 seconds.
I'm sure the solution is fairly simple, but it completely escapes me. Any thoughts?

You could put the box on a layer with a 2 sec.timeline that hides the layer when the timeline ends.
