I am working on a story with a custom stage size. I added a slider to control a variable, but the mouse and the slider button our not calibrated. Basically as I move the slider, the mouse gets farther and farther away from the actual button on the screen.
I scratched my head for a long time on this one, and I even opened up other projects that I created with slider that works. These projects are the standard size, so the only difference is the stage size for this one. It is larger. The only thing that I can come up with is that there is some value mismatch for custom story sizes when using sliders. Anyone else experienced anything like this?
Very odd. I'm not seeing the problem on my end. Do you have an example you can attach? I created several stories with odd sizes (1400 x 540, 300 x 900) and the slider tracks OK for me.
Was the story the custom size before you created the slider or after?
I have the same problem! When I copy paste the slide in a new project it works just fine but when I build a slider in a new project and paste it in the original project it has the same bug again..
This discussion is a bit older, so I'm not sure that the description here would match what you're experiencing. Is it something that you'd be able to share a copy of the problematic .story file with us? You can upload it here in the forums using the "Add Attachment" button at the bottom of the Reply window or you can send along to our Support Engineers here.
You'll also want to confirm that you're working on local project files as detailed here, as working off a network or shared drive is known to cause odd behavior. Additionally I'd recommend importing project into a new file vs. trying to copy and paste the slide elements as a whole into a file.
Please let us know if those changes in behavior assist with the file or if you'd like us to take a look at what you've set up in the .story file.

Hello Steve,
Do you have a file you could share with us to take a look? Also, can you confirm that you are working locally as described here?
