Click and Drag Interactive Text Entry Panel

Aug 12, 2014

Hello fellow Articulaters!

For a project I am working on, the requirements call for an interactive "notes" area where the user can type notes while they progress through the course. The text-entry box is not too difficult to include and I was able to get a print trigger etc set-up. However, the challenge came when I noticed that the client wants to be able to move the "Notes" area so the learner could move the panel around the screen and take notes while course content was playing.

The best representation I can find of this is located here: http://www.scie.org.uk/assets/elearning/restraint/restraint01/resource/index.html

If you click on the Tools Menu,

- Click on Notepad

- You will see that you can click and drag the text entry panel around the screen.

Perhaps I am missing the obvious so if someone can point it out it would be great! Perhaps you cannot do this but either way, if you have insight or suggestions, I am all ears!

Hello again folks,

I have sorted it out... woot! Once I get a proper example I will try to share it.
