Clicking "Prev" leads to unpredictable response.

Shouldn't clicking "Prev" always take you to the slide that leads to the slide you are currently on? I noticed that on one slide it took me back to the beginning of the scene. Then when I tried some others, sometimes they operate as expected and sometimes they jump somewhere unpredictable like even forward where you have not been yet in the lesson. I am considering removing the "Prev" button because I have the menu on the left that is pretty handy and very predictable, so the Prev button is redundant, but I"m curious why it would not work. Thank you for any advice.

Hi Viki,
The Prev button jumps to (or should jump to!) the last slide that was visited, as you'll see noted in this Articulate support page.
If you're seeing something different, perhaps you'd like support to look at your story file? Or, you could upload here for community members or staff to look at.
Prev works exactly like your browser's back button. It's a little jarring since most folks are used to seeing previous navigation run back through a linear sequence. You can custom program the previous button to target the previous slide in the sequence but you'd need to do that for each slide.
Thank you. I had not seen that explanation before. My lesson was doing some strange things with the Previous button so I must have done something strange to the trigger without realizing it. I removed the button from the lesson, but I know better what to expect from that button in the future. 90+ slides so customizing each Prev button does not sound reasonable, but for a shorter lesson or a specific slide I could do that.
