Close Captions for Videos

Feb 09, 2023

Hi There,

I am creating a video using Storyline 360 and have placed close captions into storyline, but when I publish as a video I am unable to access the close captions.  I have attached a screen shot of what I am seeing. Please help.

Hi Julie,

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 73, we’ve included important fixes and new features!

One new feature we’ve included:

Boost video accessibility by including closed captions when publishing projects as MP4 video files.

To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Please let me know if you need additional help!

Hi Julie,

Thanks for reaching out! Currently, the closed captions added in Storyline projects are not included when publishing to video.

I'd like to share the good news that Closed Captions for Video Projects is in our feature roadmap and In development! We'll be sure to update this conversation once this feature becomes available in Storyline 360.

I appreciate your patience!
