Completion Criteria Question

Aug 24, 2017

My client wants the following:

A pre-test: If the user gets 100% on the pre-test, they can skip the content of the course and have the course marked as complete or passed. The course menu post pre-test will be adjusted based on the results of the pre-test. (Lessons grayed out that correspond to passed questions.)

A post-test: If the user does not get 100 % on the pre-test, they will have to go through the content and then take a post-test. The passing criteria for the post-test would be 80%.

How can I create this? I originally thought that I could create trigger from both tests to go to a slide at the end of the course if the required score is reached, and then make reaching that slide the completion criteria.

Suggestions?

Hi Ellen,

It sounds like you were going to use this method here to report completion based on visiting a specific slide?  That should work - with the caveat being that the score will not update to reflect how the user did on the pre or post test.

I know there are lots of folks in the community who have asked similar questions - so I hope they pop in here too! I'd also suggest reaching out in the Building Better Courses side of ELH and see if there is anyone who can help! That side tends to focus more on design and how to type of questions.
