Control slide visibility on sidebar

Feb 13, 2014

Hi all,

I have a series of 10 slides but i only want the first one to show up on the sidebar menu. There are other slides before and after these 10 slides too but I want these other slides to show up on the sidebar menu. Is it possible to set it that way?

Also, I am wondering if it is possible to merge content from different layers into 1 layer?

Hi Marcus and welcome to Heroes!

You can't control the menu that way, but you can set the menu up to have the different scenes collapsed at the start and expand as the user goes on. For more information on how to set up the menu, you'll want to review this tutorial.

In regards to your second question, you can duplicate/copy a layer within a slide, but you'd need to copy the individual elements of a slide layer to add it to a new slide layer connected with a different slide.

Hi!

Thank you for the reply! I apologize for double posting.

Both of the methods mentioned in the video meet my needs (the "indentation of slides to create a folder" method and the "hide slide from the menu" method).

As for the question on merging content: copying is not too difficult for me, but is there something similar to the flatten image function in photoshop?
