Although I am fairly new to storyline I have recorded a number of practise recording in Word etc and have had no issues. All my actions are recorded.
However, now that I need to record for real (on a programme called pControl), none of my "actions" are recorded. When I insert into my story, each slide has a screen shot, with hot spots etc.... but every "hint" is "Click P-Control" Why is this happening? Why does it not recognise the links being clicked, the dates selected etc. Please help :) Thank you Bernadette
not sure if it makes a difference but the programme you are recording is it in a Citrix environment? I have had issues with other screen recording software (UPK) in that instance. Only way we could get around it was to have UPK loaded into the same citrix session (my techies guys sorted it for me).
Please feel free to keep us posted Bernadette, and Storyline itself is also not supported in a server environment, so if looking into having the programs loaded in the same environment - please look to have the program installed on your local drive.

Thanks for the feedback - I am going to find out. I am new to this company, so someone is going to see of that could be the problem :) Thank you!
