Is it possible to highlight the sound from the editor and simply paste it into another slide or into Audacity, thereby making it available for use elsewhere?
I don't think you can do this in the sound editor but you should be able to right click the sound in the timeline and click 'export' and that will create a .mp3 and .wav that you can use elsewhere.
