correct button or dialogue box

whne i create a quiz and go to the layer :"correct "and wish to resize the box, it will not let me.  I can resize all the text boxes but not the box..  When i right click on the box, there is no choice "format"  box, the only options are layout- what kind of box- correct, thank you, feedback etrc. but no resizing can be done..  Or format background..  No little dashes or squares to hook on to the box.. to resize it just like the text boxes.

Is there something i am not doing correctly?
