Correct Response displayed on Review Quiz is too big in size.

Mar 21, 2016

Hi Team,

For fill in the blank quiz slide the Correct Response displayed on Review Quiz is too big in size (refer attachments). also this quiz has two acceptable answers but only the 1st acceptable answer is displayed on the review quiz screen. It should display all the acceptable answers for better clarity.

One Onservation- If only one acceptable answer has been used then the size of Correct Response is comparatively less but still big enough to cover a major part of the slide.

Hi Ashish.  Thanks for reaching out!  When I looked at your file, I saw exactly what you are talking about with the abnormally large text in the quiz review.  I tried putting my own question slide into your project, and the review showed the same thing.

I then opened a new project, and I imported your slides into my new project.  The quiz review showed everything at the appropriate size.  I'm attaching my imported version of your project below.

Try importing your project into a new file and see if you notice any difference.  Also, to note, always save and publish to your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or an external (USB) drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.

Let us know if this helps!

Hi Crystal. I looked at your version of the file. The problem is that your file is having story size of 720x540(4:3), and quiz review is perfect for this file.

But the file created by me is having story size 1600x900(16:9) and the quiz review is showing same behaviour as explained in my starting post. (refer attachments)

I tried your method as well, it worked for default story size. But as I changed the story size to 1600x900(16:9) in that new project, same behaviour occured on quiz review screen.

What can be the issue and solution for this?

Thanks Ashish for being patient.  I'm sorry that I didn't realize you had customized your slide size to 1600x900.  The higher resolution (slide size) increases the text size of correct answers displayed on review.  Our QA is investigating this issue.  I'm sorry that this become a problem for you!

I'm going to add your discussion thread to their record of this issue, and that will allow me to keep you updated with more information when it becomes available.

For now, for the correct answer text to display correctly,  the slide size can be kept

  • Lower than 760x570 for 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • Lower than 970x546 for 16:9 aspect ratio.

I hope this information is helpful.
