Course Launch on iOS Problems
Jul 25, 2016
Hi all,
I am not able to launch a course from an iPad. We have downloaded the AMP, tried multiple browsers, and have all HTML and mobile publish settings enabled, including the off-line download option. I have also manually edited the amplaunch.html file according the articulate forum instructions. The iPad is running iOS 9 and we use the most recent version of Storyline 2. The launch button doesn't work in most cases and we have also received a "Cannot open page--page is invalid" error message.
Has anyone had this issue before? Any and all recommendations are welcome. The module has been successfully tested on PCs using SCORM cloud and the client LMS.

Are you running this on the LMS?
Does this LMS support Tin Can or XAPI? If so, did you Publish to that setting?
If your LMS does not support Tin Can, then republish again, and UNCHECK the AMP option, but leave the HTML 5 option selected.

Hi Christine,
You may also want to review this article on how to distribute your content for Flash, HTML5 and mobile.
Let us know if you need anything else or are still having difficulty after checking those out.
The LMS does support Tin Can and the course works on an iPhone when published with this setting, but not the iPad.
We were able to get it to launch successfully in safari by un-checking the AMP option. Thank you so much!
Hi Christine,
Do you know what update of Storyline you're using and what update of the AMP you're using? The latest update of Storyline is Update 9 here, and I'd also recommend using the latest iOS. If the LMS supports Tin Can and you've published with Tin Can and the AMP option checked it should work normally. If it's not, we'd want to take a look to offer additional help.
